BSL Shaders Mod 1.17/1.12.2 is a cinematic shader pack for the Minecraft game. BSL Shaders Mod adds shaders to enhance bright colors, reduce darkness and customize torch colors, creating a more beautiful and romantic Minecraft game world than ever before.
This Minecraft Shader combines old and new shaders, creating cinematic and artistic effects and updating the graphics. This shader is used in both gameplay and freestyle adventures in the magical open world of cubes. Minecraft Mod integrates many primary color and color options from the original Minecraft game to create a unique, freely customizable visual experience.
My brief assessment of this shaders mod is that it is pretty light. Although people edit it from a terrible shaders mod, the amount of FPS that my Minecraft loads are always at 45-60 FPS or more (test configuration: Core i5 – VGA AMD R9 270). It is too great compared to the FPS of Chocapic13′ Shaders Mod on the exact design (about 30-40 FPS). Another thing is that the author uses NVIDIA VGA to write these shaders. Maybe that’s why my FPS is not very optimized (most users now use NVIDIA VGA).
The highlight of this Shaders Mod is probably the typical color of Chocapic13′ Shaders Mod. The image is not blue or yellow, and the color is apparent and sharp. The blue of the sea and the sky is very well represented, outstanding, and not too pale.
Other effects of Chocapic13′ Shaders Mod are also kept and slightly modified, such as Lens Flare (circular light spots appear when looking at the sun).
The unfortunate point is that the highlights will be slightly flat and rough if in a high-contrast frame like the image above.
Indoors and dark areas, the system simulates the light of torches and other light sources very well. We can see that the space is not yellowed, not too bright, and not too dark.

Instructions for installing BSL Shaders Mod
- The computer needs to pre-install Minecraft Forge, Optifine HD, and GLSL Shaders Mod.
- Find the folder containing Minecraft.
- On a Windows computer, from the Start menu, open Run, enter the command %appdata% and then click the Run button.
- On a Mac, from Open Finder, hold Alt and then Go > Library in the upper menu bar. Open the Application Support folder to find Minecraft.
- Put the newly downloaded mod (file.zip) into the minecraft/ shaderpacks/ folder. When opening the Minecraft game, press the Mods button to experience the beautiful new shader immediately.
