Gear Swapper Mod for Minecraft allows players to easily use 4 different Hotbar sets, armour and switch equipment sets quickly. This Minecraft Mod works in the game through a series of new blocks.
Gear Swapper mod for Minecraft is a mod that adds a bunch of blocks. It allows the player to change the “equipment set” that the player is equipping to another “equipment set” that has been memorized and stored by these blocks. This makes it easier for players to change equipment for each job. Especially when players are using mod packs with many mods related to equipment and tools, it will reduce the work for the player.
Gear Swapper is a convenient but easy-to-integrate mod that can be used in large mod packs because of its simplicity and light capacity. Suppose you are a longtime Minecraft player who loves the functional diversity of huge Modpacks with dozens of different mods. It has the number of materials up to hundreds and the number of equipment sometimes up to dozens of pages of Not Enough Items / Just Enough Items. You’ll deal with the problems of equipping each suit of armour to each job you intend to do.
How to use Gear Swapper Mod
Left-click on one of the 4 slots to remember the Hotbar and armour you selected for that slot. Armour and Hotbar will accompany you throughout the journey. The block will also not forget the total number of items already there to restore correctly.
Right-click one of the 4 slots to restore the previously memorized Hotbar and armour. All related items will also be restored to the inventory. At this point, the entire slot will be empty if the setting remains unchanged.
When restoring the selected block, the block will scan your inventory first, then the internal storage (4×4 internal buffer). Finally, the neighbouring warehouses until the required item are found.
However, you can also set up blocks for more in-depth control. Right-click the block, select the Settings label or the side of the block to display the GUI.
The 3 icons on the top left of the GUI screen will show items stored from the Hotbar and armour when you restore another block. By default, priority is given to items stored in the player’s inventory, then the internal list, and finally the neighbouring warehouse.
When clicking on the 3 icons above, you can change the priority of these 3 types of warehouses. There are also 5 different equipment transitions: Stone, Wood, Lapis Lazuli, Iron and Glass, allowing you to set with external textures in the config.

How to install Gear Swapper Mod for Minecraft
- Install the free Minecraft Forge program on your PC to download mods.
- Navigate to the Minecraft folder.
- From the Start menu, open Run, enter the command %appdata% and then click the Run button on a Windows computer.
- From Open Finder, hold Alt and then Go > Library in the upper menu bar on a Mac. Open the Application Support folder to find Minecraft.
- Put the newly downloaded mod (file .jar) into the Mods folder. When opening the Minecraft game, press the Mods button to play with the installed mod.
