There are many situations where you need a shield to protect yourself. Significantly when you meet opponents or wild animals, a powerful attack can cost you your life or stop the adventure when you are injured.
With this special sword, we can nullify 50% of damage when attacked. There is no need to use a different blade and shield, which is quite inconvenient. Now, with only one weapon, we have up to 2 functions: attack and block. It doesn’t even take up much space on the screen, giving you more freedom and widening the target viewing angle.
Your existence can last longer and continue the journey ahead. Not only is there a combat weapon, but it is also like a layer of armor that protects you from a lot of damage.
How to install Sword Blocking Combat Mod on Minecraft
- Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
- Locate the Minecraft application folder.
- On windows, open Run from the Start menu, type %appdata%, and click Run.
- On open mac finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
- Place the mod you have just downloaded (file .jar) into the Mods folder.
- When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button, you should now see the mod is installed.
Note:
- There is no config file for this simple mod. You need to take the sword and use it directly in combat.
- The mod needs to be installed on both the client and the server for the mod to work properly.

Features of Sword Blocking Combat Mod
You can use it with both hands. When holding items such as food, potions, bows, crossbows, shields, etc., it always takes precedence over holding a sword in hand. This allows you to both wield a sword and a shield to fight in the original game.
Disable part of the damage from arrow attacks, explosives… The player needs to hold down the right mouse button while holding the sword in hand. Normally, it will reduce damage by 50% but does not reduce the durability of the sword. It’s great!
While using a blocking sword, the character’s movement speed will be slower.
Notes:
Swords regaining their right-clicking ability leads to some items such as bows and food becoming unusable in the off-hand while holding a sword in the main hand. For Golden Age Combat to fully function, it needs to be installed on both the client and server.
