By | September 6, 2021

The Flying Things Mod 1.15.2, 1.14.4 is a great magical Minecraft Mod in the world of magic cubes. This mod adds flying brooms and magic flying carpets, helping you comfortable explore the Minecraft open world.

The Flying Things Mod
The Flying Things Mod is a newly updated mod from the author Corail31 – the character behind the favorite mod pack series like Corail Tombstone Mod, Corail Scanner Mod, and Corail Recycler Mod.
To adventure to explore the vast Minecraft world, you have many ways: such as riding a pig in Trail Mix Mod, swinging like a spider with Grappling Hook Mod, flying a plane or controlling a hot air balloon in ViesCraft Mod… and now using flying brooms and flying carpets in The Flying Things Mod.

Configuration

6 Minecraft Mods, Resource Packs, Maps

The mod includes a config screen in game for all client configs in 1.15.2+.
The others files (server/common) localized in your “run/config”, need to be edited manually (with a correct editor not adding BOM to the encoding).
The changes will also be applied if you edit theses files while in game.
For 1.12.2, anything can be configured in singleplayer in the screen in game (and you can copy theses files then on your server if it’s for a dedicated server purpose).

Features of The Flying Things Mod

  • Broomsticks can be dyed with any color in the base game (when the subject is in the world, right-click with 1 dye). We can remove the dye with a damp sponge (but cannot reuse the sponge).
  • In fact, mobs are not allowed to use these flying items because they are quite stupid, do not know how to control vehicles. In future updates, the author can tweak this feature.
  • The broom and flying mat are for one person only with a small hitbox for easy portability. There will be larger flying vehicles for 2 people for players to transport animals and other passive objects in the next update.
  • These 2 flying vehicles can move on the water when that function is turned on in the config file and can also be seen when flying brooms, flying carpets on water.

The Flying Things Mod User Manual

  • To build these flying vehicles, you first need to find the Phial of Animation (usually found in the building chest), thereby unlocking the crafting recipe.
  • Vehicles are controlled with the Forward arrow key and follow your gaze or assigned to a keyboard shortcut. In this case, it will return to the personal inventory.
  • You can combine the Sneak Combo and the right mouse button to have the vehicle appear in the world without auto-assembling or return it to its original item shape.
